North County Automotive is owned and operated by Erik and Talia Tyler. Erik is a certified Master Technician through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and holds an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology from Cuyamaca College where he received factory training for Ford vehicles. Erik has years of experience performing repairs on various makes and models. He is an instructor at Palomar College and teaches a variety of automotive classes including, Basic Electrical, Emission Control Systems and Brakes. He enjoys learning and works hard to stay on top of the changes within the automotive industry, with a focus on, electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell and hybrid systems. Erik also holds California Smog Test and Repair licenses.
